Beacon was recognized as one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the Baltimore area by the Baltimore Business Journal.  Beacon is an award winning strategy and management consulting company that partners with Cabinet-level federal agencies, Global 500 firms, and local organizations to help them achieve their desired outcomes.

More than 300 companies were surveyed for this list and Beacon was ranked 8 out of a total of 50 top women-owned businesses. In order to be considered for this award, the business must be based in the Baltimore-metropolitan area and at least 51% woman-owned.

Beacon is led by CEO and founder, Carol Koffinke, who asserts, “I attribute Beacon’s growth, in a large part, to our employees. Our employees are extremely dedicated and committed to providing innovative, quality solutions; and our customers know this. We find that our customer’s continue to come back to us because they know they will receive superior people and unsurpassed service. We are very honored by this award.”
