Beacon is excited to announce that it was awarded a contract by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Program Support Center (PSC) with prime contractor, CNI Advantage, Inc (CNIADV.)

The CNIADV and Beacon team will support the PSC in a variety of critical support areas, including but not limited to facilities management; property management and disposal; telecommunications; HSPD-12 badging; and general administrative functions for PSC regional customers. Additionally, the team will improve the effectiveness and efficiency of current processes and tools for issue management through the integration of a new state-of-the-art work management tool, which will improve the team’s ability to meet PSC needs as responsibilities for issue management grow.

Beacon held the prior iteration of this contract in 2007 as an 8(a) small business; the award of the $25M contract putting the company in hyper-growth mode. In a very short period of time, Beacon had doubled its annual revenue, doubled its staff size, and was suddenly a nationwide company. Now, a successful mid-size company, they are continuing to strengthen their relationships with HHS in the areas of program support and performance improvement.

The company has gone through a tremendous amount of change since Beacon was first awarded this contract, to include graduating from the 8(a) program, receiving ISO certification, and doubling the size of the company.

“Our PSC staff has been through all of these milestones with us, and the growing pains that come along with it,” stated Amy Pfaff, Beacon’s Vice President of Business Services.  “We’ve established a lot of great relationships with our staff, and with CNIADV as our partner, we look forward to continuing our support of the PSC.
