Amy Pfaff Vice President of Business Services

Amy Pfaff is the Vice President of Business Services for Beacon Associates which involves leading the Operational Support Division and overseeing the development of the corporate infrastructure to support growth.  Amy is a skilled executive with more than 15 years of experience with operational/administrative management including finance, office administration, and human resource management.   Her career includes supporting Fortune 500 companies, such as T. Rowe Price and Crestar Bank.  This experience has enabled her to impart best practices from industry leaders to a fast growing and successful organization, such as Beacon. 

Amy joined Beacon Associates in 2003 as the third employee and foundational member of the organization.  As a long standing member of the Executive and Leadership team, she works closely with the founder to plan and execute winning growth strategies.  Her collaborative style and outstanding ability to dissect and problem solve has contributed significantly to the evolution of the organization specifically in the areas of personnel management, financial and resource development, and strategic planning.

During her tenure with Beacon, Amy has directly managed each of the organizations’ key operational areas including Finance, Human Resources, and General Administration.  She has assisted these areas to grow from small functional teams to well established departments supporting key strategic initiatives.  In addition, Amy has established infrastructure to support Contract Administration, Security, Safety, Facility and Risk Management.  She has applied her experience in the public sector and creative problem-solving approach to understanding the complex compliance and regulatory requirements of a government service organization. In 2010, she was promoted to the oversight and management of the company’s largest client service division with over 120 employees located throughout the U.S. and with average annual revenue of $18 million.  Amy continues to offer her support and dedication to the organization for the development of future business service lines and ventures.
Amy earned her degree in Business and Management from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.
