History
In 2001, our founder, Carol Koffinke, started Beacon Associates as an LLC. Beginning as an executive coaching company, Beacon Associates quickly expanded into management, training, and human resource consulting. In 2002, Beacon Associates incorporated, and in 2007, we acquired Great Circle Software, Inc., adding technology to our capabilities in order to deliver full-service solutions to our customers.

75% of our management team comes from Fortune 500 companies. Our corporate office is located in Bel Air, Maryland, with satellite offices in Greenbelt, MD and Warwick, RI.  Beacon is growing very rapidly with projections for next year being over 100% growth from this year.  Our growth has been recognized by a number of entities, including the Baltimore Business Journal and Inc. Magazine. Because of our expertise in management, Beacon Associates has managed this growth with a solid infrastructure and has maintained strong financial health since inception.

Beacon Associates has developed a refined project-management methodology that we utilize consistently on every project. Our methodology, combined with the effective oversight of our management team, has enabled us to complete 100% of our projects on time and on budget.
